Garrett and Maya Werner are planning to hike through all of California, Oregon, and Washington via the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), a 2,650 mile trail. That's right: HIKE the entire length of the trail.
While the trial is on the west coast, both Garrett and Maya have come to love the wilderness and beauty the East Coast has to offer, particularly in areas throughout the Appalachian Mountains. Most notably and often, the couple has escaped to the West Virginia wilderness for many years now. In many ways, their experiences in the wilderness and recreation areas of West Virginia have served as inspiration for their continued passion for the outdoors and natural resource conservation.
The planned thru-hike of the PCT is no exception. Garrett and Maya would like you to get involved to help continue to protect the environment in an area that is near and dear to their hearts via the West Virginia Highlands Conservancy.
Fundraising Goal: $2,650 ($1 per mile of the PCT)
Please take a moment to donate!
All donations go to the West Virginia Highlands Conservancy in Garret and Maya's name.
