To celebrate the upcoming release of a new book on the “Ecology and Restoration of Red Spruce Ecosystems of the Central and Southern Appalachians” we are hosting a fundraiser. The beautiful book cover illustration is available as a 9″x12″ print for $20. All proceeds will support red spruce ecosystem restoration activities led by partners in the Southern and Central Spruce Restoration Initiatives. This open access book was written by over 40 red spruce restoration practitioners and researchers to provide a “state of the science” of red spruce ecosystems, a one-stop shop for new restoration practitioners, and highlights three decades of successful partnerships to restore them in the central and southern Appalachians.
