MOUNTAINS, NORTHERN KANAWHA COUNTY

Upon the bank a haze of bluets

pool, and I wade there refreshed,

lost in spring, myself, all I can get

being on a bank in a haze of bluets…

which may seem little enough, and yet,

life is short, and hard—we’re only flesh—

and so on this bank in a haze of bluets

all I know is to linger, refreshed.
